What My Clients Say
Barbara competently and professionally landscape designed mine and my husbands large, complex building site between 2004/2005. During the designing phase Barbara was very flexible about designing the plans to provide us with look we wanted. We are absolutely delighted with the work that Barbara has done, the garden looks absolutely superb and couldn't recommend her work more highly.

Having known Barbara Tremain for approximately 12 years and being confident that her work is of the highest calibre I had no hesitation in providing one of her cards to Mr and Mrs Stafford-Jones. I felt sure that they would find her to have integrity and vision in her working relationship with them. I have recommended Barbara to many of my clients in the past and continue to do so. I have heard nothing but good feedback about her whether she has ended up working for these clients or

We are the directors of a landscaping business working within the southeast who specialise in the restoration of Victorian mosaics and masonry for garden frontages and employ a number of people. We hired Barbara shortly after we bought a house in Penzance to help us restore the garden and have worked together since 2002. The overall quality of her work is excellent and we would thoroughly recommend her professional services.

Barbara and I hit it off from the start. She is open, friendly and full of enthusiasm. Her design ideas and planting knowledge are excellent. She explains her ideas clearly and professionally and then works very efficiently to realise them in the garden. It has been a delight to have her help and advice.

At all times Barbara has been sympathetic to our requirements and has carried out all the plant purchasing - choosing the most appropriate nurseries for specific plants and advising us of costs - as well as carrying out the preparation and planting work. She supervised any additional labour sympathetically, listening to their comments and using their abilities alongside her

Thank you for your visit to my garden last month and for the very professional way you answered all my questions. I now have planned the garden along the lines you suggested and I am sure next year it will be a much more colourful and professional looking space thanks to your advice.

During her first few months here, she spent one day per week working with the service users in a wide variety of group activities. She also became interested in the planning and development of a wildlife garden and had an active part in the plans for the garden, which were an essential part of a successful bid for a grant for this project. She has had a very good rapport with staff and service users and her horticultural skills have been highly valued during her time at Kehelland.

Marcus A Myring and my wife Alex have employed Ms. Barbara Tremain as our landscape gardener since 1999, we being proprietors and owners of busy shops Cornish Delights and Abbey Bears had not the time and patience to turn our garden into the ideal we wanted. Barbara has worked very hard and has listened and has turned our and her ideas into a wonderful reality.
