Barbara is a joy to work with!

I have known Barbara for over 20 years. When she first came to work in my large and overgrown garden, which due to my age I had not been able to keep on top of for a long time. I have now lived in my cottage for over 50 years.
She worked diligently to restore it to it’s original beauty.

It was like restoring the Lost Garden of Nancledra.
There was about 100 yards of thick bamboo about 12 feet tall all along the river bank, obscuring the view and smothering all the chameleons, rhododendrons, acers, and other beautiful woodland shrubs that were planted in this garden of local historical significance.

After the restoration which took about three to four years to effectively establish, Barbara left to go and work abroad and in other parts of the country for some years.
Returning home a few years ago.

About 2 years ago my family asked Barbara if she would return to help, as my interim gardener had left without explanation. She has willingly done so ,which is a comfort as I am now in my 90s, and it is good to have someone I am so familiar with and can trust.
Last year she organised the tree surgeon to come and do necessary works around the garden.

This has given it a new lease of life, as well as making it safer with the big trees near the house.

Barbara is a hard worker, and I value her skills and reliability.
